PocketRoar privacy policy

PocketRoar does not sell personal information and does not operate a media relay, cloud media store, first-party analytics service, or PocketRoar account system. Google AdMob and RevenueCat provide the limited advertising and purchase services described below.

Email updates

If you join the email list, PocketRoar stores your email address, signup source, signup time, and a one-way hash of your IP address in Cloudflare D1 to deliver product updates, prevent abuse, and suppress duplicate signups. Email [email protected] to be removed.

Provider paths and data that move from this phone

The planned first public release uses the phone camera and microphone. Connecting YouTube or entering a Custom RTMP destination sends account, stream, and media data directly from the phone to that provider under its own terms and privacy policy.

Ads and purchases

Development builds may request a non-personalized banner ad from Google AdMob after the applicable consent status allows an ad request. Google and its advertising partners may process device and app information, IP-derived general location, ad interactions, and diagnostics under Google's privacy policy.

If a public release offers an in-app purchase, Apple processes the payment and RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app-user identifier, app/device context, and App Store transaction and entitlement information. PocketRoar does not receive payment-card details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Release boundary

Other camera and destination integrations may exist in development builds, but they are disabled in the current App Store release and do not initialize or contact their services. PocketRoar does not receive video or audio.

Data kept on this device

Retention and deletion

Clear all disconnects configured accounts, removes local settings, credentials, and summaries, and attempts provider token revocation. Provider-side records remain controlled by each destination.

Diagnostic reports

Diagnostic exports are generated on explicit request. Raw traces may still include sensitive data and should be reviewed before sharing.

Data-safety reason text

The current App Store release requests camera and microphone access only when needed to preview and publish a stream. Location is not used to determine location in-app.
